Towards a Digital Data Theory of the Cosmos
It is important to humanity to get this viewpoint into the open because it presents us with a more understandable ontology of why we are here and the place (universe) that we live in.
The idea of a universe made of particles, atoms, energy is not meaningful to many of us.
So here, at last, is a much more understandable viewpoint and meaningful explanation.
Many past philosophers have touched on the idea presented in this paper, but it was the phenomenal success of the Von Neumann machine (basis of a computer) that opened up a practical possibility for a complete universe (or indeed universes) to be actually created in a comprehensible way.
Welcome to the real Universe.
This paper presents the universe in terms of information instead of the usual atoms and energy view.
It posits the universe as made entirely from information and it is information that creates a 3D space ‘paints’ particles in this 3D space.
The essence of our universe is then information based rather than particle based and at long last we gain a clearer view of ourselves and the context within which we live. The puzzle is explained, the Matrix is decoded. Continue reading
